IfI browse my contacts, I think all the contacts have mobile numbers (not just numbers) unless they aren't mobile numbers anyway. Do you know where the contacts database is stored so we could check...

My contacts were exported (from the contacts app on the N900) befor upgrading to PR1.2. I flashed to 1.2 and since importing my contacts I've had these issues. So I guess it's not a problem...

I have exactly the same issue. Unfortunately searching for myself doesn't seem to fix it for me. It finds my contact if I use juat my first name, but if I search with my surname too it doesn't...

That's actually how I had it set beforehand, then I turned it on whilst "demonstrating" to a friend how auto-completion and auto-capitalisation can be useful... Turned out I was wrong!

No, me too - makes entering usernames/passwords near impossible sometimes. I can get it to make it lowercase by typing it twice and deleting the first, but that's not exactly a good solution.

Mine often does too - for me I think it may be when it cannot connect properly as it always seems to work on wifi.
