Sadly I have tried everything (within my limited ability) to get this working. with the above zip file, do I have run this via terminal? I was using this player everyday as I need subtitle function....

N900 via A2DP BT Connection

I have a Bluetooth A2DP head unit. Dont need to touch the phone, just use the stereo buttons to bump tracks , pause etc....
Blaupunkt Toronto BT400 - Highly recommend it....

get rid of fAPN as well.
set to rude & medium resizing.
