Re: N800 Unable to run Diablo
It has crossed my mind too but it does not explain why it runs sometimes and also why it has problem running from the memory card as well.
I might investigate flashing it back to chinook and then...

Re: N800 Unable to run Diablo
I have tried that, there are no error messages, just normal log entries.
I have also done the following:
1. Unpacked rootfs from the flash image
2. Mounted it on ubuntu
3. Cloned it to the...

I did all that, I have also tried to use usb networking and ssh server to monitor the boot process but it did not yield any useful information (random parts of boot process failing). I am not sure,...

N800 Unable to run Diablo
I've had this pretty much since diablo was released but I feel I need to upgrade now. The problem is that my N800 tablet will not run diablo correctly. I have flashed the device numerous times to no...

Re: n810 died after flashing diablo
Well on my side of the story, I still cannot use diablo, the tablet simply will not boot, or will boot into a trashed or miscoloured desktop.

When you reflash your device all data on the internal flash gets overwritten, including the bootmenu. Unfortunately, every time initfs part of flash is overwritten boot menu will dissapear. Download...

Re: Diablo still not compatibilie with my N800
I do not think that a large number of n800 is affected by this. Perhaps it is only my device, or it developed a fault in the internal flash just affecting the new rootfs/initfs size combo. You more...

Re: Cannot ssh into N800 from ubuntu
that is beacuse the line 127.0.0.1 N800 localhost points to localhost only

127.0.0.1 localhost
192.168.1.10 N800
(substitute 192.168.1.10 for N800 ip...

Re: Cannot ssh into N800 from ubuntu
I have set the static ip through dhcp to my n800 (at least on my home network) then it is easy either to add a host to /etc/hosts or use ~/.ssh/config facility.

Re: rootfs.jffs2 clonining not working
There is nothing particulary interesting in dmesg output on both flash and mmc boot's. All those problems are happening only on diablo. Chinook works without a hitch and flies on my tablets....

/2 is where /dev/sdc2 (/dev/mmcblk0p2 on the tablet) is mounted
I will...
