How to Fresh Install Meamo? (My n900 has gone dead)

My n900 isn't responding properly. It has become very very slow and also i have around 500 songs on my disk but its showing only 81 :(

it says
line 141 doesn't exist and the "then" is line 25 and not 141

Looks like i can never install Nitdroid unless there is an auto installer :( been trying since 2 days. some or the other prob crops up everytime :(

before this line it says:

Ok i usef fdisk and was able to create the partitions. Now when I boot and select Android, these messages come:
Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!

I did reboot and tried twice...

Ok now i have deleted my partitions completely. Can u plz tell me the commands using fdisk rather than gparted and then how do i extract, sudo tar or just tar. (I am on Ubuntu Live CD)

I did something and tried booting up and now it says:
getbootstate: Invalid selection
Choose boot option:
2) MMC
9) Start a shell

and I am unable to type numbers :(

How much time does it take to boot android?
i am waiting to boot since 10 mins. it often says "init: untracked pid xxx exited"
can some one confirm if this is going right?

I have tried doing this again and again. repartitioning. can u plz tell me how do i change permissions of the memory card folder fab3b96b-05e9-4b56-af0e-250bd8e9842b. that would solve my problem

The file is the mc folder only. some fab3b96b-05e9-4b56-af0e-250bd8e9842b but this place is read only filesystem only it says when i try to extract :(

Ok, I did that. Now I am able to get that. I downloaded the file. I am using ubuntu live cd. I am unable to extract it. when i type

sudo tar jxvf nit..tar.bz2

it says read only file system,...
