but unfortunately contents are .backup and .bin files :(

If only I knew anyone else with a n900, I could do the trick... but there seems to be no software that'd...

Thank you for the help. Unfortunately that tool is no use to me.

I didn'd do the backup with PC Suite/Ovi Suite... Mine was done with Maemo's Built-in backup tool (the one with a safebox icon)

It's curious that no matter when the SMS are sent, they are logged at precisely that time!

24 hour clock (check)
Automatic Update (check)

Time Zone: GMT +2

Date: Thursday June 17th 2010

Hello! I've just noticed that all the SMS that I send are logged as sent at 1:00 01/12/1999

Incoming SMS are logged with the propper date/time. The issue is only with Outgoing SMS

1x gmail account, MSN-enabled vía PassPort.

Ok, so I Finally FIXED all 3 problems!!!

Nicolai, I re-did what you said, deleted the el-v1 file but I rebooted without restoring the backup, and voila, I fixed the event logger :)

Nope I dont, although I had bootmenu in case that matters.

Also after reflashing... how come some things werent erased? I wouldnt mind doing a total erasure and starting from scratch but I dont...
