applied your fix (remove and then replace onto desktop) and mine seems to be fine now :) Athough when removing the media widget off the desktop, it also seemed to take a few other items off too!

no joy unfortunately. The camera app doesn't allow me to change where to save images, it's grayed out...
Reset to default settings and rebooting had no effect either....I feel a reflash coming on. ...
