With that ID it's already in modem mode, just make sure the serial driver is fired up and understands the id and you should get a ttyUSB0 with any luck.

Edit: the dial string and login info rather...

New Firmware with MMC root FS?

What is the least impact way of updating the firmware (kernel in the case of 38-2, I believe) when using an MMC root file system? I suspect that things would break badly if I did another blind tar...
