Re: Any way to hack around Fido?
Hi there HellFlyer. I chose Fido several years ago because they had towers in my area and they offered my wife and me a "couples" package that was much more affordable and better suited to our needs...

Any way to hack around Fido?
I'm using Fido in Canada. They just gave me a one-month free unlimited web browsing upgrade, which works great on my Fido-locked Sony Ericsson T715 phone's browser.
But when I move the SIM card to...

Getting Ovi Suite to find the N900 via Bluetooth?
Since my N900 suffers from a disconnected USB port, I need to use Bluetooth for connectivity. I have updated the firmware to PR 1.3 and my hope is to use the new Ovi Suite support to sync the N900...

Re: N900. After 5 month it's a total delusion
Interesting...I too got my N900 to replace my dead Palm Pilot (and an intervening series of bad cell phones with so-called PDA / media features). As an Outlook user, I'm dependent on Nokia PC Suite,...

Re: N900 + SE A2DP Bluetooth stereo headset
Hey guys, I just got a hot-off-the-press SE MW600. I used to have a SE HBH-DS220 but it died. The MW600 is a very nice piece of hardware with a built-in FM radio which I really appreciate because the...

Re: Poll - do you want voice dialing on the N900
Hmmm, I'm surprised no one is working on an S60 (or E71) emulator for Maemo. :) I have never used these phones, but from what folks are saying, it seems like they kinda had these features nailed...

Re: Announcement: Countdown Timer
In my studio, I use a lot of countdown timers. Right now I'm using ToastTimer (source forge) inside the Garnet (PalmOS) VM. I'll give yours a go.

Re: How about... an Eseries tablet?
OK, reviving a 2 year old post was accidental. But "spraying" about the PIM features? That's a bit harsh--it was only two posts. Besides, shouldn't we all be able to express what works, doesn't work,...

Re: [sandbox] Boost battery output

Here's...

Re: [sandbox] Boost battery output
Folks, I think my point was this...no matter what you do to optimize the software, a bigger battery will always give you more run time. I realize this is a Maemo forum, but I'm looking for some...

Will the REAL app please stand up?
Folks, after my initial euphoria when Nokia PC Suite pushed 3000 contacts from Outlook 2007 to my N900, I have come to be very disappointed and frustrated with the built-in PIM/PDA/Phone package....
