770 wlan promiscuous mode

Is anyone able to get their 770 to work in promiscuous mode on wifi?

tcpdump doesnt see any traffic other than traffic that is directed to the device despite my ifconfig wlan0 promisc command.

You can not upgrade the Flash on the 770.

There is a shift key, its below the capslock.

You can also swipe upwards on the character you wish to have in uppercase with the stylus to get the shifted version of that character.

Do you have your Treo in modem mode via the Bluetooth app? You have to switch it by hand to enable Dial up networking.

For a newcomer what does the 'we lack working codecs for the OMAP 1710 processor' Mean exactly? Is this a chip in the 770 that just doesnt work under 2007 when it does under 2006? Like a Kernel...

The 650 and 700wx are two vastly diferent devices.

The 650 is Palm OS based and has a nice easy to use modem mode.

The 700wx is a Windows Mobile 5 device without built in DUN.
