Maybe we are talking about 2 different problems here?

I already experienced 3 wsods and each time the os ran fine. (I could even reflash without a problem.) It was just the screen that got messed...

The first one broke after 3 months and it took 2 weeks to repair.
The second one broke after 1 month and again i had to wait 2 weeks.
The 3rd screen lasted only 10...

So far i had 3 broken displays and the "Crack of Doom".
Right now i'm waiting for my replacement unit and i am praying that i get an estonian model. :D

these displays tend to brake when powered on. maybe the chance of a failure
is bigger when you switch the device off/on multiple times without giving it some time to...
