I have seen similar connectors on cell phones, probably for factory test.

BTW Reverse Polarity RF connectors do no reverse the signal and ground connections (That would work like crap with coax...

It works with Google Talk...

I have never tried Skype so don't know if it needs more processing.

I know it works between to N800's with GoogleTalk. Never tried it with a PC.
