Must be very close, the driver seems to load correctly (slightly modified kernel) ...
Any clue what is missing?

vendor/nokia/nit/BoardConfig.mk reads BOARD_USES_ALSA_AUDIO := false
i guess that should be true, anybody tried to build it like that?
Was it deliberately disabled?

What is the status of sound support for nitdroid?
It is definitely not in the latest versions @ http://guug.org/nit/nitdroid/.

Application installation seems broken:
from shell, from browser crashes&reboots
Any other means?

Found a solution myself:
sudo ./adb push xxx.apk /data/app

You can make the dns persistent by putting it in /default.prop
(/nit/bin/vi /default.prop ... or pull&push)

dns: setprop net.dns1 ... indeed works
(after a full reflash..., prob. must have had some stale entries)

solca: are you already working on startup/shutdown, power management?
/nit/bin/busybox...

.../etc/resolv.conf
setprop net.dns1, net.wlan0.dns1, ...
none of them seem to work for me ;-(
adding entries to /system/etc/hosts work as expected

anybody having prob's with dns? Wifi is working fine, except for dns...
even manual setting dns through setprop ... doesn't cut it.
any clues?
