I got the letter too. I called the number explained the situation and they reprocessed my rebate. Check should be here in 6-8 weeks.

I did send in the amazon receipt which showed a Sept.21...

I noticed after the firmware update that when i open my file manager the device name has changed to "bcm2048bo initialization configuration".

how did this happen? how do i change it back to n900

turn of the virtual keyboard in the settings restart then turn on again. worked for me

Transition Control works great! I changed rotate in, out, % and blank min and max all to 0. Now its a half second black and no animation. Thanks for the app suggestion.

because when the phone is in landscape im usualy on speaker phone and when i need switch to handheld i want it to be rotated.

also there are times when a call comes in and the phone auto rotates...

The rotation is so slow but i like having landscape mode.

Is there a way to make it jump from one view to the other vs the rotation animation?

streaming video works best on kmplayer.

how do i change it so when i click a link in the browser the default player is kmplayer instead of the systems media player?
