I am having an American N900(bought from Nokia USA site) using AT&T sim and it is rebooting right out of the box

it rebooted me twice while I was trying to write this reply !!

can you confirm that you have NO reboots while browsing?, mine seems to occur as soon as I browse WLAN. I havent tried 3g browsing yet, but guess it wont matter.

Try to browse both WLAN and 3g and...

Ok I have Flashed the device yesterday, and it worked well for about 3 hours...BUT...once I connected to WLAN at home started browsing, it rebooted :( , now the reboot cycle has been started again.

Have been following these threads since I ordered N900

Got it yesterday from Nokia USA online site, was hoping that the reboot problem would not occur, but guess what?? it keeps on rebooting on...
