The solution (on all Linux distributions) is to prevent the cdc_phonet kernel module from loading....

In the end I have reflashed everything, rootfs and eMMC.. I like it very, very neat :) Now it's like it was when it came out of the factory.

How? It has only one available option "Memory usage" that says "memory card corrupted" (there's no memory card in it, I suppose it refers to the internal memory)
