coming back to the high pitched sound. i was using the adapter for the none standard charger, i believe it has some kind of chopper circuit in it or something. This was making the high pitched sound.

if you are having problems flashing under windows, try flashing it with a linux system. i had some troubles flashing my n900 through windows at work, at home on my linux box it went flawless.

okay the flashing keyboard lights have stooped after disabling R&D mode, but the searing sound has not stopped.. it's almost the same kind of sound the old school flashes made when loading.. except...

yup that worked.. i believe i enabled it because i was intending on mucking around with it.. so what do the flashing keyboard LED's tell me then, that it's in R&D mode or is it feedback of some sort?

nope not the charger, from my n900.. i'll check and see if disabling R&D mode works, can't remember enabling it though.

theyre both empty.. i take it that means that all hosts are allowed. my desktop mounts the nfs with no problem. so i dont think there are access problems on the server itself.... any more ideas :)

nfs mount troubles
hi there,
i'm trying to get my nfs share mounted on my n900 but keep running into errors. my export on the server reads:
/on_ice 192.168.1.0/24(rw,sync)
i mount with:
mount -t nfs...
