Re: FS N810 Like new with extras

You're likely not going to get what you were hoping for out of this device. This is a smart bunch of people, who source prices before purchasing just about anything. I paid 100 for mine, with all...

Re: Anybody even using Fennec on the N810 anymore?

If they can get FF to the snappiness of Opera Mobile, I'll be all over it, but I can't see dropping Opera for a while. It's much better IMO than any of the other browsers. While others have nice...

Re: [Android] NITDroid V2 Development Topic

I am looking forward to testing on my n810. Let me know if I can do anything helpful on that front.

As a side note, I appreciate everything you are doing, and cannot express how happy I am to hear...

Re: Firefox Mobile final now available!!

Did I catch that the nightly builds now support the same addons the 1.0 build does?! That was a deal breaker for me, no adblock plus, no firefox. I lasted almost 2 days, but it was hard to compare...

Re: Firefox and Facebook -- only Mobile all of a sudden?

I also am on an n810. Just tested, and it is the same for me. A couple of days ago I noticed a link on the facebook home page "click here to download a bookmark for your n810". It wasn't in the ads...

Re: [Mer] While we wait for GL drivers..

Anyone know the state of Mer 3d on N810? I have been ultra excited to check it out with acceleration. It looked so great on my n810, just painfully slow rendering.

Re: Firefox Mobile final now available!!

Anyone else catch the html5 enable entry in about:config? *Almost* got a test video to play. (Video started, played a few seconds, then hung)

Re: Firefox Mobile final now available!!

I got to playing around with it after your post, and did not have much luck with triple tap... I did seem to be able to highlight, but haven't figured out quite what the gesture is. I can't replicate...

Re: Firefox Mobile final now available!!

Well, I don't have much swing with the guys at mozilla, lol, but have you tried to use ctrl+v and ctrl+c? I can only confirm this works on N810. I also noticed in about:config that there is an entry...

Re: Firefox Mobile final now available!!

I spent a lot of time bookmarking mobile and iphone websites, but firefox works so well with the full versions, I hardly use them. I still REALLY like this browser, and if anyone is having trouble,...

Re: Firefox Mobile final now available!!

I noticed when I had the plugins enabled that sometimes I would have to maximize, then un-maximize the browser window to get the video displaying. Not a guarantee, but it might help.

Re: Firefox Mobile final now available!!

That's exactly what I've been doing. It really doesn't seem to slow other apps down, I can run video on Canola without a problem with firefox hiding in the shadows. It would be nice to have a loader...

Re: Firefox Mobile final now available!!

I should clarify, I have an n810, and I have been timing page loads to usable, not a perfect benchmark, but there is a difference of several seconds on most pages.

I also set prefetch.next to...

Re: Firefox Mobile final now available!!

I have set a 256mb swap on my external card (class 6), and set firefox to 16mb cache, and firefox now runs better than microb, although the initial load time is about the same. Has anyone found any...

Re: Firefox Mobile final now available!!

Be sure to press the function key twice to lock in the ability to type numbers. The dialog box might only accept numbers, as the setting is an integer. You may also have to tap in the dialog box....

Re: Firefox Mobile final now available!!

8192 cache on my n810 seems to be the sweet spot, I was able to get flash by setting plugin.disable entries to false, and it seems to me that the browser is pretty damn snappy (after 20 to 30 second...

Re: Firefox Mobile final now available!!

Not liking it. *Might* be a bit too much. Pages load slightly slower, but are fully scrollable once loaded.

Testing 8mb now.

Re: Firefox Mobile final now available!!

Just upped the browser cache to 16mb. Testing. 4096 helped alot, but I re-disabled flash almost immediately. Worked great, just seemed way slower. Anyone having any luck making it snappier?
