when loaded with software the N900 would get very very slow even Oc'ed to a 1ghz or higher. I need email on my phone, push email, Nokia messaging worked great 99% of the time to deliver and send...

i have had no problems with t-mobile usa and fmms. t-mobile uses the epc.tmobile.com as the mms apn so you dont even have to make a 2nd connection.

t-mobile usa can use epc.t-mobile.com for MMS and internet you do not need to change apn's
