the problem if i do this, it says that have to remove a package called mp-fremantle-generic-pr, then i dont know if its safe remove this.

The best way to know if your file system have problems is try the backup using backupmenu, if you get many errors when running the backup then your file system have problems.

yes you can do it but is not very safe, and i dont know if it possible make fsck to the rootfs when you are on maemo and if it is i think is not very safe.

- Yes that tool is the best for make backup of contacts and conversations, calendar and bookmarks.

- After this install backupmenu.

- Then recharge full the battery of the phone.

- Reboot...

Yes may be is that, but i want it fix this.

out of this, it appears that this version works well, at least the most important, fsck, USB mass storage mode, and backup.

now why do not I get the...

first of all try to make a backup using the backup tool of maemo, because this kind of problems usually can result on a corrupt file system that required reflash the phone.

I recommend to you this...

Robie, the version that is in the repositories is 0.60.1 and have problems, can you up the 0.60.2?

Another thing, you know because when I use backupmenu fsck I get this error when analyzing...

thanks, this has been fixed.

But, is some way to rebuild the cache, if i have another similar problem like this? or just if i delete all the .cache content, then it's rebuild alone?

well i try this but gparted dont repair nothing but and if i do fsck to test, give one error.

sudo e2fsck -n /dev/sdb1


the error sorry it's on spanish, i got this on ubuntu
e2fsck 1.41.12...
