Anyone have any hard consumption figures for 3G though? My old N8 never really seemed to show much difference between idle 2G and 3G (although I never measured it to this level) ditto for my Palm...

Nope, still "failing to flash". It's really weird as like I said in my first post, it happily flashed the UK image before, and prior to that it would show the Nokia logo when plugged in.

Well the lowest PR_Legacy_280 I could try was 10.2011.34-1.280.1 and that failed as above. Anything lower that you know of?

The 280 may be from the first seemingly successful flash that I made...

Get it in a bag of rice in the airing cupboard as soon as you can, and if you can get the battery out too that's even better. Do not try and turn it on until you've dried it our for at least 3 days
