I'm not really seeing who's advocating them giving up cheap phones...I certainly don't think I said anything of the sort, I was just pointing out that companies make more money by selling expensive...

No, the point isn't silly at all. Nokia's average selling price for phones has been dropping all the time and it's a major problem for them. You get a lot more profit from selling the more expensive...

Thanks for the link. And, hmm, yeah...even if I ignore the lag (the alpha part is very visible there), that really doesn't show anything at all impressive. It's like Android 1.5 with uglier icons....

I think that particular video of the tablet is actually very nice. Since they're showing the video already, the "alpha" part pretty much probably means that the UI is ready, so I don't expect it to...
