Based on what I have been reading from the Wiki page (http://wiki.maemo.org/Updating_the_firmware) Is selecting restore original settings the same procedure as reflashing?

USB port is working. I am able to connect to charger. I will learn how to reflash, apply that knowledge, and update. Thank you all for all the information.

Was your cousin able to repair the phone?
I was using it as a 64gb flash drive with a GUI. It made up for all things my Nexus 4 lacks. (Storage, removable battery, storage...)

I am able to open and the authentication completes, but once the song information displays, the application closes. No music is played.
It shows the following error:

I try to stay away from Xterm as much as possible for my own good...
I tried the following, assuming 'exec' is akin to 'run':
exec /opt/pyRadio/pyradio.py
The terminal closes and nothing...
