Had exact same issue yesterday. Messages didn't show up even after reboot, waited hours in messages, nothing,almost gave up and reflashed, but then rebooted again and opened straight away messages....

Got it working by selecting desktop Firefox user agemt and closing tab and opening Grooveshark again.

Also unselected the demand add-ons combatibility from settings...
