Re: gnome sword or bible program

Hi Walts,

Sorry for the very late reply, I'd sold my N810 a while back and had stopped checking the forums. In answer to your question, no, I did not convert from a Laridian Bible module into a...

Re: Rapier

Walts,

That's exactly how a lot of people feel, myself included.

I was surprised to find out the professors of my seminary have largely switched from NASB to ESV, which is freely available for...

Re: can the '08 GUI be ANY crappier?

Are you referring to kinetic scrolling? I think someone was playing around with that.

Re: can the '08 GUI be ANY crappier?

I think those advocating changes in the UI are hoping these updates to the UI would take place at a system level and not just on a per application basis - ie, our tablets implementation of Hildon...

Re: can the '08 GUI be ANY crappier?

Totally liking your proposal Bundyo! Though instead of invisible points to click at I'd give users the option of transluscent clickable elements or at least force them through a tutorial the first...

Re: can the '08 GUI be ANY crappier?

With the long click the way it's implemented right now, I find inconsistent behavior. Half the time when I take my finger off the screen so I can read the menu it's bringing up, the menu disappears....

Re: WTS: near mint N810, carrying cases

Sigh, I've decided to put my tablet back on the market. Sorry for all the flip-floppery, I'd just started liking it again but will be quitting my job and starting seminary soon, so I think I'll be...

Re: can the '08 GUI be ANY crappier?

I hope the revisions to the UI include removing the tap and hold mechanism for simulating right clicking. This is one feature of the current UI that drives me nuts, because it's so inconsistent and I...

Re: Rapier

Wow, I like the concept UI. I was working on a few sketches a while back as well but got tied up with stuff. Maybe I'll revisit that.

Re: WTS: near mint N810, carrying cases

I've had one so far, a request to trade for an older laptop. Unfortunately I just saw that the threads about costco and newegg are offering these brand new for $349.99. I'd probably buy new if I saw...

WTS: near mint N810, carrying cases

Hey all,

Unfortunately, my notebook has finally died on me and I need to find a replacement for it. As much as I've enjoyed the portability of my Nokia N810, I need to put it up for sale. I've had...

Re: "Off topic?" Carman news! Now closer to Canola, EFL based and more!

With regards to the price, most of the car enthusiasts I know use ScanGauge II, which costs the same as the OBDKey with...

Carman's looking pretty sweet! Definitely would be interested in this. By the way, would it be compatible with bluetooth devices such as this?

Re: $199 iPhone 2 (3G & GPS and exchange)

Still no copy and paste functionality. Sigh.

To be fair though, is it right to figure the cost of the 2 years of phone bills into the cost of the device? I mean, don't you pay for some kind of...

Re: Website unable to verify if I have flash installed?

Huh, Youtube didn't work either so I thought to check if it was enabled under components and it was off for some reason. Should be fine now as Youtube works.
