Would that not mix my N900 collection and my desktop connection? Rather than let my sync between them.

its mounted automagically as user by kde desktop mounter plasmoid!

Tried changing the lable of the partion to mydocs like yours but didn't help.

I tried an update to 2.4.1. , still not there!

I can mount the drive and access it (bash, dolpin ect) but amarok dosn't see it.

What is your fdisk output for the internal...

Has anyone else managed to get the N900 to work properly with amarok with the N900 (it works fine with Banshee ughhh:rolleyes:). I have the problem on both kubuntu and opensuse

Thanks for your reply. I think I've found the source of the problem. There was a broken install of liboauth0. Noticed when I did apt-get install in terminal!

:D all working now :D

yep have tried and adding and taking away on ubuntu. works fine. I had to delete a key on my ubuntu computer to readd the u1 filesync. But I have never had the conboy...

I'm trying to add my n900 to ubuntu one. I get to the screen of adding the computer type in the name and click add (in microb). The screen goes white then just waits there.

You might also want to add the game gripper to the list. I haven't tied one but supposedly makes games easier to play on the n900.

I have vnc to my ubuntu desktop many a time. Depending on what you want to do you might find X forwarding better.

In a word the problem is poorly formated webpages. The whole apps things works because lots of webpages don't scale well and are too busy. A web only world would work if webpages scale better.
