I will post a video of the two if I find the time tonight.

N800 faster than N810 and which one should I keep?

For several months I suspected that my N800 is just faster than my N810. I just assumed that since the N800 was flashed recently it is just 'cleaner' hence runs faster.

Yesterday flashed both the...

Mer, still alive?

I am a big fan. Have a dedicated N800 just for Mer testing.
I haven't heard any update on new builds - is it still alive?

That was my last hope with the future of my N800/N810.

Thanks for the...

Re: N900 $519 before rebate Buy.com

Well actually you could have saved $110. It goes for $469 after $50 rebate in buy.com. I am actually thinking of buying it, but still am not sure if I should replace my 1 year old N810.

Sync music, photos and movies to your N8x0

I saw one post about doubleTwist before but back then there was no native support for the tablet.
I just installed it now and it immediately recognized my N810.
2 minutes later I could sync my...

Thanks.

Hey, any word on the accelerometer and other cool extensions you were cooking for the N810?
(I love the SD kit!)

Re: Joikuspot VS Bluetooth: Battle of the Power Drainers

I have the E71 and N810.
Using BT tethering I get hours of battery life.
It is the N810 that would 'die' first and the impact on the E71's battery is marginal.
When I use Joikuspot it drains the...

Re: [Mer] 0.15 released - another month + a week gone by

Wow, this is really getting there! Tear actually performs better on Mer than on Maemo to my opinion. The scroll is much smoother. I was able to install and run Fennec, GPE-Calendar and it all runs...

Re: 32GB SD adapter For N810

I have the same mod. Just use the regular mount but put the N810 with the keyboard open. Works for me.

Re: Advantage of installing NITdroid/Android

Yes, it does, but with all the issues mentioned (soft keyboard crashes, works slowly...). Tear is MUCH much better.

I do not think there is any difference.
I use it at home with my N810 and while it does connect through the remote access (not using the local network IP) it works smoothly and I have full access to...

Have you tried Easy Debian Turbo Charged? Does Ubuntu work better than Easy Debian?

Re: cheap prices at some sites, but all out of stock...any ideas where to get N810 ch

No.
Touch screen is more sensitive and is readable in direct sunlight (unlike the N800).

Re: Tear 0.3 - Simple WebKit browser, now with Dashboard

Same here...
I can't access Gmail/GDocs...

Click the link and nothing seems to happen.

My scrolling, however, is smooth as always with Tear.

Re: The end of multitouch for...everyone?

Palm has probably many hundreds of patents for the PDA business. I am not sure that Apple would "jump" on them so quickly. On the other hand, Apple does have a much deeper pocket than Palm...
