Does 'device is mentioned / configured in mer-hybris' really imply that the device is 'officially supported', latter including Android support etc? I just want to be on the safe side.

This is clear that both the XA2 (pioneer) and XA2 ultra (discovery) will be supported from the launch.
Edit: Actually the XA2 Plus (voyager) will also be supported. For the source, look for instance...

Maybe it's the re-animation of the Palm name in a zombie product that bears no resemblance to its namesake. Like what occasionally would happen to Commodore and Atari (or Nokia, for that matter) over...

Where is that information from. I haven't found anything about this issue.
And even if this issue exists. The device is part of the Open Device Program. I can't imagine Sony would try to refuse...

I don't think that the CPU power is better but I think the CPU should be more efficient. Together with the bigger battery that should give us an outstanding operation time.

It's an even narrower Verizon-specific thing, where you can add 1-5 extra "devices" to your monthly subscription (at $10 each) and get your calls, texts, etc on all of them. It's not a local pairing...

I recompiled cutenews and qmlbrowser with cssu-devel libqt4.
For cutenews I set QSsl::AnyProtocol and for qmlbrowser I set QSsl::SecureProtocols.

Both should now support TLS 1.1 and...

Off topic but that privacy banner/overlay stuff is added via JavaScript from a domain called consensu.org. Amazing how many websites work a lot faster without enabling all the 3rd party scripts that...

After the rehash and restarting the console it should work also without -CApath.
Try to rehash without perl infront.

For my system and same openssl version it is working without the -CApath. Also...
