You probably have the latest version installed already. This is the very same version that has been in extras-testing for some time (due to limitations in the QA process).

Mauku 2.0 beta 4 (update 2) is available in Extras now!

I am not perfectly happy with that version, and there will be a new version in extras-testing next week. I will announce that later....

Mauku had a critical bug in its backend code, which is now fixed. Make sure that you have the version 20091018 of the Microfeed package available in extras-testing.

Unfortunately beta 4 in the extras-testing depended on wrong library versions. The newer beta 4 update 2 has the right libraries, but a backend database may be corrupted already if you have used the...

The source code of the reference implementation of Microfeed is now hosted in Gitorius: http://gitorious.org/microfeed

The database backend is reimplemented from scratch. The library is not using...

There is a gesture that performs the same action than double click: sweep to right. However, active users wanted to have also double click, so that is enabled too. My own opinion was to left it out....

I expect that you are talking about the old Mauku 0.x for legacy devices (like N810). The touch screen may temporarily lost the contact while scrolling especially if you are using a screen protector....
