I love the size and power of my N800 and I still use mine everyday. If I had not dropped it messing up the charge connection it would still suit me perfectly. Having to charge the battery...

Found a Digipower Universal Battery Charger for li-ion, nimh, and AA/AAA batteries at Walmart $29.95. Charged my BP-5L battery just fine. Took longer than the hour it said most batteries charge...

Thanks tso. I have searched Google looking at chargers and it gets a bit confusing.
There are a few universal chargers that claim to charge any Li-Ion phone or camera battery. Probably junk....

I have never soldered anything and don't have a soldering iron. Also I have never tried too open the inside beyond the battery or SD card slots. Don't know how to. Guess I could maybe find someone...

I bought a new charger but the tablet is not charging. I plugged it in and left it a while and tried to turn the tablet on and it came on just to light up the Nokia screen for a couple second and...

Thanks. I have a lot of chargers left around from old cell phones some nokia but was not sure if they were the same or ok to use. I will try one if it fits and if not look for a new charger.

I am really bummed because I dropped my N800 with the charger plugged in and it landed where the charger connects to the N800.. The post of the charger was bent and would not make a good connection....

Still Using My N800 but................
I have loved my N800 running OS2008 and I still use N800 everyday or so for some web surfing and play a few games but more and more often it Brousers out on some web sites, even this one or pages...
