I think you should be worried more if someone plugs a usb into your phone than stealing data through nfc. Distances are too small, and with nfc by itself you can't send but a few bytes, like bt...

Neither does 701 but it has an lpm screen. Haven't seen an lpm on sailfish N950 though.

As you can see in the N900 wiki, it's not the backlight which drains mist battery in lcd's when on...

You need to not have a lock code set up, as non-Nokia kernels can't access the memory where the lock code is stored. Just remove your lockcode.

I changed casing on one of my N9's and the speaker that came with the new casing is definitely worse than the original. Too tinny. Perfectly usabke though. Try with headphones to rule that out
