now this is weird, I deleted all the connections that were there, rebooted the device (I was connected to wifi) and now the GPRS and the wifi where I was connected are still there, I tried doing this...

well this works, I used the gconf thingy and it shows 5 things there (all of them having names like "AAAAA-BBBBB-CCCCC-DDDDD").

now how can I delete them? just remove the directory name of the...

yes, but it doesn't list the APN I have (it was sended automatically to me after I activated the internet option with my service provider and I pressed "Yes" on the "accept gprs settings screen?").

what about creating a virtual device "/dev/videostream" and streaming the front camera to it by default, and when the back-lid is open switch the streaming to back-camera.

Hi. I've already searched about this problem and the answer was "can't be done", but maybe someone knows.

My n900 has a GPRS connection in Internet Connections that can't be deleted.

Now here...

After restart it's written some error in red in the top and after 2 seconds it restarts, and keeps doing that endlessly :(

let's say I pop in a Ubuntu CD (just using the Live CD)

what should I do there to setup bluetooth for tethering.
it may be a windows problem, so if it works in Ubuntu...

It fixed those errors however it's still the same.

I took the liberty to ping the bluetooth IP of the phone while in PAN:



also, if I ping from the phone the IP of the pc's bluetooth it...

where do I find a list with the tools needed to build apps under Ubuntu?

I've found just an article saying how to create a reddit clone .. and it was regarding scartchbox development.

seems like I won't be able to make it work unless I cut my veins with paper

I've set the client IP 192.168.1.2 and the Gateway 192.168.1.1 (the settings are still the same now).

I will check more on this when I wake up.

I disabled every connection and tried again but it's still the same.

One thing I noticed is that in "Status" for the Bluetooth PAN (on my PC) it says:
IPv4: No Internet Connectivity
IPv6: No...

I am using Windows 7 with no software for my bluetooth (it came without) so I have the bluetooth device in Devices and Printers.

There I have the pairing with my N900 and I press Connect -> Direct...

it's weird because it doesn't pop up to select a connection (I tried connected to wifi and disconnected, to see) but I get the notification in that yellow field with "Bluetooth PAN Activated".
