Real solution to ALL N900 problems is to buy an Android Phone with physical keyboard. I did it and never needed to thoroughly read the android forum.

But the examples I have found are for creating apps rather than a desktop widget.

Yes, I have written the raw file to the microSD as usual, then flash -l -b -k kernel, then plugged the phone while pressing the U key, after that unplugged the cable the phone showed a the tipical...

What happens to me is that I have to plug/unplug it a few times until it starts charging with the wall charger. With USB cable it works ok.

I have diskwrited the raw image to the microsd card. Then flashed the kernel. With winxp and win7 both 32bits OS
The phone starts loading stuff then prints a lot of mesgs complaining about...
