Ok that explains why it doesn't work. Could you run

cat /proc/net/ipv6_route

while not connected to GPRS, just to be sure ?

I cannot reproduce it. If you're having a call, AutoDisconnect won't switch the network mode.

Hi DaSilva.

Just use the switch to Dual Mode instead of the 3G Mode in AutoDisconnect settings, it will resolve your problem.

3G is activated at the connection. That's not more complicated than that.

But if you launch a new connection when AutoDisconnect switches to 2G, AutoDisconnect will switch the network mode back to 3G.

Uninstall AutoDisconnect it will do the same thing. :)

The Pidgin Plugin uses Telepathy, which is native for the N900. If you don't want to use the Pidgin protocols plugin for Conversations and Contacts...
