You need to download GAIM, then the protocol you'd like to use, then other miscellaneous stuff like sounds, buddy icons, etc.

I hope some can help me. I accidentally clicked on debug window, and now the window floats above all other hildon windows when gaim is open. i tried uninstalling, but it survives the reinstall too....
