Can't confirm, restored dozens of images with kp52 using backupmenu, and never had any issues.

For a good quality sound you can try a script I made from other scrips found around here. I tested them on BeatsAudio headphones, and the sound is about ~80% identical quality as an HTC X8 with Beats...

@xes: all n900 uboot patches was upstreamed and this month we will see new version of uboot with n900 support. In that version is also ext4 support, so I updated uboot bootmenu to work with ext2/3/4...

Because multiboot damaging phone nand memory, erasing u-boot and also because kernel boot image is too big for rootfs, I removed multiboot support plus optified bootimg package. Now with kp52 only...

xes, could your trackerfiles be corrupted? U could try tracker-cfg and rebuild databases, or just reinitialize tracker via xterm (not as root), maybe it helps - maybe not
