Re: Would you buy/use Nokia N900 in 2018?

So I wish I could get another N900 with working modem, or, to answer the...

Sounds like the answer depends on: is that smartphone supported on mainline Linux ... So I guess quickest answer is No, at least not yet.
And of course the images provided are for specific devices,...

Re: Fremantle porting - getting organised

Yes, indeed. I much doubt anyone hopes to have 'perfect' browsing on N900. But slow might be tolerable, depending on individual use/needs

Re: Neo900 - finally a successor of N900

Yes, and No. The Droid 4 is ancient device as well, has non-resistive touchscreen.

Side note: I do not recall that the Neo900 targets SFOS

Re: [Announce] Qalendar -- a replacement for the default calendar

@gidzzz, might I suggest, if possible, to add a way to change a saved 'task' into an 'event,' and vice-versa.

With stock calendar, and qalendar, you have to create a completely new task/event if...

Of course, at least on N900, you can tweak to do the check after a very long time (by which time you will have actually wanted to do the update check anyway, unless you never...

Re: [Council] Q1 2018 Community Council Election Announcement

It is really desirable to have a larger Council. Many think that council work can take a large...

Re: JTAG, how to use it to recover data?

Re: KRACK - a patch will be needed to fix wpa2 bug...

wpa_supplicant doesn't affect modem (2G/3G) in any way.
