anyone else noticed in .6 that if you use the
swipe motion to access the alarm setting
or options screen then flipclock switches
to night mode. I get a very futuristic looking
alarm setting...

why not use the light sensor: if it's dark in
the environment go to night mode and dim
display; otherwise not

I think this was mentioned before, but also
on 9.4: after alarm rings and I push the
off button, flipclock exits as it should but
leaves the volume at MAX.

I find it sometimes crashes when I spin the digits
in alarm settings.
Also - weirdly - the alarms are an hour early. That is,
if I set alarm for 6 it shows up on the main screen
as 5.

you can change 0 to 1 in ~/.flipClockPrefs.xml
in the "military time" tag
but I found it fouled up my alarms - the tablet
got very confused about what 06:30 meant
for some reason

One thing is not working for me. FlipClock does not remember
my settings. E.g. I really dislike am/pm time so I set FC to
24hr mode. Next time I start it, it's back to am/pm mode. It
also forgets...

oh .. I also notice that when flipclock is running
the sound demon (esd) is constantly taking up
2-3%cpu, so this thing will eat the battery pretty
ferociously I suspect
