n900 is classes as an internet tablet. screen is 840x480
n8 is classes as a smartphone screen is 640x360

seeing how n900 has 32gb, built in FM transmitter,IR etc this is why

n8 is only 16gb...

heres some guidelines for settings

this will give you playable smooth bitrate in default media player (maybe smoother with oss media server in km player)

i use xvid4psp from winnydows.com

it has an nice set of formats and presets included.
i made a preset for it based of the handbrake version and he included it in current release

future updates...

windows 7 openly added fat64 support aka extfat, this can be read in windows vista also and also the driver can be installed in xp

since maemo is linux maybe we it can support it or...

n900 back camera jpg quality 85?

by default on older symbian phones aka n95 it was set to takes pictures at jpg quality 85

there was hack for newer sybians such as n96 to change this to a higher value up to 100 may took longer...

as i say this error libqt-maemo5-maemo5 (4.6.0~git20100119-1maemo1) appears when i try installing some good apps or games (sheep game example)

Stock Player. Plays Video then suddenly its not supported

i transcoded advent children from 720p using handbrake and preset.
started playing then after 2minutes stops and wont play.

Media not supported. its annoying me now
