Interesting, I'll try the 0.9 version, but I suppose the native Hildon interface and new scaler can improve performance and reduce memory footprint. It would be nice to compare both versions.

Ok, found that the error with youtube-dl-x was because I'm using brontide's youtube-dl-x for higher quality youtube videos, I'm using the -x option on mYTube and that was causing the errors.

I had the same problem too, but solved it copying the youtube-dl-x from brontide to /usr/bin and chmod +x it, it works now. There was some error when run from the terminal, but I forgot to which it...
