Just wanted to update you with the latest info.
My battery consumption is normal again!
I reduced my 9 desktops to two empty desktops, then powertop reported normal values, dss and core wasnt ON ...

its strange, I loaded the normal dsp profile, but "kernel-config show" displays different values!?
Is it because I uninstalled kps?
btw: I found out that the maxcpu widget caused the okay...

I uninstalled kps (copied kernel-config before) and rebooted
it seems to help, I have less wakeups.
but dss and core is still on!?
but now w/o kps, I get a okay-requester with "Package...

my battery drains about 20% in 3 hours, while phone is locked, no wifi, no 3g data, no gps active, cpu usage is low (batterygraph).

Is your version capable of automatically turning on the n900 for an alarm if it was turned off during night?
The prev version by cepi couldn't do that but the originial was enable to do...

Yes, you can save root owned files in leafpad, but not when you started leafpad as user, cause then the "save as" requester appears, normaly.
I also have busybox installed, but not updated it...

Does the new clock also supports turning on the device for an alarm if it was off?
I switch off my phone overnight and charge it. And then it wakes me up in the morning with an alarm then it asks...
