This is just a thought but could it be that the latest maemo update is causing the residue in the rss feed ??
I noticed the same with the contacts. They are also left after a full flash.

No rss feed residue will be present.
The phone will be completely clean and new.
The device can be a meego, kernel power, stock and nitdroid phone with multiboot , but still emerge brand new...

I think we all know how to fully flash the phone using maemo flasher, the latest vanilla bin and pr1.3 bin.!!!!
Im telling you this bug is 100% reproducable once uve installed...

hey guys i found some pretty scary bugs!!!
these bugs are all related to the stock rss feed reader! when adding a feed or updating on (CSSU testing) it doesnt download the favicon at all. . there...

I have flashed it the way i always did and it is only after cssu these problems with the rss occur.
Once flashed on stock or kernel there are no rss issues but once updated to cssu the problems...

Hi,
after I installed the marvellous CSSU update the built in RSS reader is not showing favicons and some images are missing too.
I have "Load images" ticked but for some threads images are not...
