yep the extra testing version needs python2.5-qt4-common (=4.7.4-maemo0).

I am too n00b to know how to correct this error.

The dev version is installable but just quits after about 5 seconds.

Would this not unnecessary increase the query time? That was at least my idea when proposing hitting a tab to start the query for one of the categories.

After inserting the two lines mentioned you can copy the phone number as you mentioned, type "tel:" in the adress bar of microb and paste the phone number. the phone app will be opened with the phone...

How about tabs for each of the categories? Enter the word in the general screen to search for and then hit a tab which opens that particular screen and starts the query for that particular category...

Additional testing resulted still in significant drop of rootfs memory. However after a longer period (got a coffee) the rootfs is freed up again. So it seems to use a lot of rootfs but releases it...

yes it can. two lines need to be added to the prefs.js file

1. Install leafpad (if you haven't already) (sorry, you have to install it, but it isn't big and can be found from Extras trough...

i did three queries: my name, my girlfriend's name and the most common Dutch name Jan. Just to create an overkill in results.

Rootfs free mem dropped by 10 mb, usage of ram increased during query...

To check your idea I reinstalled Scout. Extra dev did effectively not eat a lot of root. Scout itself did neither, but the Scout queries do eat up a lot of memory that will only be freed after a...

At last search functionality that comes close to that of the palm. Thank you very much!! Did I miss this.

Tried the version that still crashed on conservations. That one took approximately 20 mb...
