Re: Bluemaemo just simply doesn't work, are there alternatives?

There's a bug (https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9969) for it, and the method from the comments there worked for me. Here it is with an added note:

Bluemaemo just simply doesn't work, are there alternatives?

Everything down the dependency tree has something missing, from efl-core to libeet to whatever that depended on. Is there anything else that can do the same job (act as a keyboard for my computer)?...

Re: Neo900 - finally a successor of N900

I have donated 100 euros, twice now. I was lead to believe that I could join the two orders by quoting the order reference of the first in the second. Now that you have made it clear that it is not...

Re: Sarcasm Fail...

Re: Neo900 - finally a successor of N900

I'm interested in this too. If I donate my N900, would I be able to get a discount on full device Neo900 that's >= just selling my N900?

Another note, what's the solution for the display...

Re: Neo900 - finally a successor of N900

Yeah, I have no idea how to do something like that. I guess the Ubuntu Touch UI is going to be in a "unity" package, but I really don't have the time right now to even begin porting anything...

Re: Neo900 - finally a successor of N900

I've seen the demos of Ubuntu Touch and they never use any multitouch gestures anyway, leading me to believe they're not entirely necessary.

Re: Neo900 - finally a successor of N900

Apparently, dual core is a minimum. (http://www.ubuntu.com/phone/operators-and-oems) Everything else seems fine though (I suppose it's a bit too much to ask for you to add an extra core? :P )

As...

Re: Neo900 - finally a successor of N900

Hi, I'm nearly ready to donate, but I have a question. Will this device be powerful enough to allow Ubuntu mobile to be ported? Is this a possibility (even though I realize that it's not an initial...

Re: Neo900 - finally a successor of N900

I'd just like to say that I'm in. I use my N900 as my primary phone still as it was incredible value to buy (quite recently) - so many projects and years of support backed up in these forums!

Even...
