Re: gpodder N9 - suscribe youtube user ?

There might be an easier way, but I used the gpodder.net website to add the youtube feed and then imported it into my N9 (does require you to register with gpodder.net though)

Also, you may find...

Re: Instinctiv or Shazam like app?

Can you not just try the number? In the UK, for Shazam, I just call 2580. I assume they have similar numbers for other countries for use via dumb-phones?

Edit: Just checked and apparently only the...

Re: TED talk media type to download for N900?

I use GPodder and subscribe to their RSS feed at www.ted.com/talks/rss

I know it's not quite what you asked, but it works well. Are you trying to download the videos directly off their website?...

Re: [Announce] ZapLoc - a Gowalla/Foursquare/Facebook places/Latitude aggregator - "All your location based services are belong to us" ;)

I'm sure there must be an easier way (over DBus) than this, but there is a python-wifi (http://maemo.org/packages/view/python-wifi/) package in the repo's which should do what you need?
Example...

Re: Lukija (read it later -Client) - anyone able to sync ?

Hi Slocan,

With the latest version of CSSU (20.2010.36-2maemo15; released in the last 24h), Lujika works splendidly again.
Thanks for all the great work!

Out of interest, are you still working...

Re: PETITION to Nokia to release the full source code of the Maemo OS to this Community.

None of the above has changed with any recent announcement.

Our current best bet is to help out the CSSU team and rewrite any closed source packages...

Re: [Announce] ZapLoc - a Gowalla/Foursquare/Facebook places/Latitude aggregator - "All your location based services are belong to us" ;)

Btw, this seems to be a "known" issue with not using microB for authorisation? Atleast there are other apps which explicitly state this:

Re: [Announce] ZapLoc - a Gowalla/Foursquare/Facebook places/Latitude aggregator - "All your location based services are belong to us" ;)

This should work from the shell (untested):
dbus-send --system --type=method_call --print-reply --dest=com.nokia.mce /com/nokia/mce/request com.nokia.mce.request.get_device_mode

If it does, you...

Re: [Announce] ZapLoc - a Gowalla/Foursquare/Facebook places/Latitude aggregator - "All your location based services are belong to us" ;)

I used this bit of python code (uses dbus) for listening to CellID changes when I threw together "Rest in Peace": http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?p=428628#post428628

It could be modified for...

Thanks for looking into the issue, Slocan.

Re: Lukija (read it later -Client) - anyone able to sync ?

Actually, it seems like pretty much every page can be made to appear black on black. The first page in the list (as displayed in lukija) displays correctly, but all the rest are black.

I can...

Most of the articles seem to be blank (well, a black page, maybe it's black on black?) -- One article I've saved seems fine, but all the rest are just black (they work fine on the web client, btw)
