I deny that: I just successfully booted SHR with:
with U-boot installed where it was.
I can't imagine anything you can try except getting battery and USB away for a couple of sec.

I was shocked finding SHR kernel have this issue too.
Now I wonder if installing SHR's U-boot would solve the issue.
Pali: would SHR U-boot see your bootmenu.scr? NO.
I think SHR staff could...

sed -i 's|test -f "\$BOOTMENU_BOOT_DIR|test -s "$BOOTMENU_BOOT_DIR|' u-boot-update-bootmenu
This will allow processing kernel images which are symlinks.

unfortunatelly I was right: such mp3s shown badly - 8bit encoding, Latin1, I guess.
But the problem may be not in OMP, as not just OMP affected: stock MP and mediaplayerwidget also. So I think this...

MyDocs == /dev/mmcblk0p1 - where?
I decided to move MyDocs from /dev/mmcblk0p1 to /dev/mmcblk0p4. But Maemo mounts only /dev/mmcblk0p1 to MyDocs.
Tried everything incl. fstab: can't find.
I know I can hardcode my preferred way to...

1. Have the healthy FAT at /home/user/MyDocs
2. U-boot shows default menu
3. U-boot console:
mmc init
mmc dev 1
fatls 1

I just stuck with
1. loading initramfs. Could you please show a command for that?
2. I've seen fatload working (once). How can I do the same for ext2. Example?...
