Pretty sure that you can use WinAmp to sync to an SD card...and it's a better media player than iTunes anyways.

I start out with a ~700mb file, it gets to about 8% and tells me it's going to take 5 hours+, and then apparently gets frustrated and...

I've seen it a few times on my 770, where the battery has been pretty close to full and then suddenly in the red zone upon rebooting. Happens with my iPod, too.

Haha I know what you mean...I'm still thinking about asking them if they can send me the broken 770 back in addition to the n800.
I mean...they can't fix it, I might as well put it in a glass case...

Well it took them almost two months after the "Awaiting Replacement Device" status, but they finally got back to me about what's going to happen. Apparently they can't get a new 770 for me, so...

Installed it last night, it's working really well (even on my 770 tablet, which seems to have stopped reading MMC cards, so I have no virtual memory extension.)

You know, I should have the 64mb card somewhere...I never even thought to try that one, since the other cards stopped working so suddenly I just assumed it was an issue with the NIT's card reader.

I posted this back in february and got NO response, so I figured I'd come back and try again.
I've got a 770 that won't read MMC cards. I don't have another card reader that I can test the cards...

I could be wrong for the 810, however, I have a greyed out listing on my 770 that says "No memory card inserted."
Mine is also not reading cards, apparently, and after ordering a brand new...

No, you tell it to download to the memory card, however, if you run the OS from the memory card it allows you to assign a larger virtual memory.
