Re: Made a switch to Android..

I switched to Android like the OP with a SGS2 6 months ago and had to witch back last week when it broke. Surprised how good the N900 still seems, I agree with the OP the screen seems less responsive...

Re: Nokia CEO Blames Salesmen For Windows Phone Struggles

" Interestingly, if the Nokia N9 had been available in all markets, it might have sold almost 5M units and pushed Nokia into profitability."

Perhaps it is not the salesman's fault then Elop?

Re: What shall I do? By another used N900 or go with new N9

Go for an SG2 I did 3 months ago and the N900, sadly, can't compare and has never been used since. It seems pointless going for an N9 when Nokia are not prepared to support the OS in the long term.

Re: Problems with N900 USB port becoming broken / loose and resulting warranty & repair issues

Mines just gone but fortunately I am just inside the warranty period, I am probably expecting too much but I wouldn't mind a WP 800 to replace it as i don't want to go back to a Symbian phone again...

Re: Should I a Nexus Prime, N9 or just keep my N900?

but you wouldn't buy a car if you knew in 6 time that your neighbours car would be upgraded and could now run twice as quick and use less fuel, particularly if the firm who made your car could be...

Re: Im on the edge with my N900

I have had my SGS2 for a couple of week and may N900 has sat in the corner looking sad ever since. The SGS" is light years ahead of the Nokia which from day one was simply let doen by lack of support...

Re: N9 [Announced]: It's [NOT] finally here!

If it is so great why is WP losing market share in the US?

Re: MeeGo dying before it ever really had a chance to live?

Haven't we been hear before when we all expected Elop to come out straight away and deny the story that they wouldn't be supporting Meego after the N9 but he's never said anything.

The fact Intel...

Re: MeeGo dying before it ever really had a chance to live?

I hate to have to say this but perhaps this latest announcement proves Elop was right to go WP7, although the way Android is gaining market share at present suggests even WP7 may of been the wrong...

Re: my screen doesn't come back after phone is idle

Just to clarify I assume you are actually switching the phone on with the slider or power button? As just touching the screen will not bring it back to life?

Re: Reasons to move from Maemo/N900 to MeeGo?

Meego CE is already available for the N900 however just how useable it is, or ever will be, is questionable. I doubt it will ever replace meamo as the day to day os.

Re: Next phone after N900 for year 2011

I agree with my posters on here nothing is really better than the N900 at present for my needs. As the N9 is not going to be available on contract in the UK and I fear may lack any longterm Nokia...

Re: Need for a good wireless headset

Nokia BH103 looks a good set for stereo listening and can be picked up for as little as £15 in the UK on ebay.

Re: What gonna happen with n900 when n9 released?

I fear the worse for the N900 as it is clear most developers have moved to the N9 and this is probably as good as it gets for the N900. Bar tweaks to the OS we have not seen much development for the...

Re: N900 MeeGo CE Summer Edition Released

OK but where's your link to suggest Meego CE is RPM based? As i thought it was just the same as the N9's i.e. DEB based?

Re: [ANNOUNCE] Speed Patch + Battery Patch + Tweaks ----> Every Thing You Need To Have Perfect N900

The standard N9 browser seems unlikely to get falsh 10 support but the Fennec browser may but the way nokia are handling the N9 at present it may not.

Android phones do support Flash 10 hence why...

Re: N900 MeeGo CE Summer Edition Released

Surely that's incorrect as why would Meego CE for the N900 have apps packaged in RPM for a deb's based device?

Re: Stephen Elop replied to my email - re: N9 availability in the uk

It is a bit worrying that Elop only took 10 minutes to reply, you would hope he would have more pressing things to deal with at the moment than to reply immediately to a customers email?

I wonder...

Re: N9 not coming to the UK on contract - Nokia, you bunch of bell-end's!

How we all buy the phone is not really relavent but what is relavent is that the vast majority of smartphones buyers in the UK purchase their phones with a contract. Therefore no contract N9's will...
