MicroB update appears to have worked fine, although the install of libgcc_s.so.1 found no version of it already installed.

Well, I can recommend the mobile repair shop in Haymarket Metro Station, Newcastle upon Tyne to fit a new, working microUSB port should it ever become detached! :)

The central point of the USB port is loose, I'm definitely not confortable trying to apply heat directly to this with the risk of melting it, but if thats what I need to do to make it secure again...
