pretty sure grsync is available in a repo somewhere, maybe try that, combined with preshared ssh keypairs or using user account (never log into phones as root.. thats asking for trouble)

Pretty sure those instructions were written in the PR1.2 days. might need to find a freshly cracked fmtxd methinks. Having said that, the fmtxd that comes with PR1.3 seems to not attenuate the power...

I find the best way is to just have a separate IM account and send from PC to phone using IM. When the message pops up on the N900, you can click on the link and it immediately loads in web browser....

Mouse cursor trick from the OP works brilliantly with synergy. Using desktop PC, move mouse cursor off the edge of screen on PC, jumps to N900. Love your work azerty1.
