If you copy it to internal flash I believe it'll work. I don't think you can execute things from MMC.

Nothing special needed. Download the 2007HE file from the website manually, then select (browse for) it within the Nokia firmware update application (Start, Programs, Nokia, Nokia Internet Tablet...

The 770 shouldn't be booted up, which clearly yours is.

Remove the charging lead. Switch the unit off by pressing the power button and selecting the power off option. Wait for the 770 to shut down...

You need to turn the 770 off. Connect it to the USB cable, hold down the "Home" button and turn it on with "Home" still held down.

It'll show a USB icon in the top right. The upgrade software will...

Navicore comes with a 1gb card, so......

Have you updated your kernel to one of the MMC speed patched ones? Do you know if the card reads ok on the 770 if you have?

Confirmed both vncviewer and rdesktop both do this.

Uninstalling them fixes the issue though.

Its worth taking note for passwords specifically that by default in most text boxes for the first word entered it'll automatically Capitalise the first letter.

Nope, I'm on standard 2006-49. There are files actually missing, changing the theme back/forwards makes no difference.

Just reinstalled (reflashed OS) and its done it again. Last thing I installed...

Not quite sure when it happened, but earlier today I somehow lost the graphics/skin parts behind the "Home" word (top left) and whatever icons are normally to the right of the battery indicator.
